Unfortunately unlike the rest of europe the UK seem to think that speeds of 1.5Mb/s are good. Welcome to rip-off UK if they can get away with it they will do it. Its about time that the egulators ensure you are charged for the actual speed you get not the up to bull.

You really need to look into changing service provider Lotan - Its crazy (from my viewpoint) that ISPs are allowed to sell you a "high speed" 20mbps internet connection but then lower the speed for no other reason than that they're really not able to provide that speed. You shouldnt pay money for such bad service! Is that normal practice in the UK to throtle broadband?
